The Fan Tails series featured birds with sparkling fan tails that open and close. They came with the standard accessories, consisting of a bird-shaped comb, perch and satin ribbon.

Fan Tail birds can be hard to find in like new condition. In addition to the standard tangling and matting issues caused by the extra long hair, the tail fan is quite delicate. The fan ribs are easily bent, and the fabric of the fan prone to ripping, fraying of the edges, and wearing thin.
